How does the Kincardine & District Chamber of Commerce represent itself in the community?
For over 35 years the Chamber has brought the town's Santa Claus Parade, which has been a community favourite, drawing thousands of spectators to greet Santa over the holidays at no cost to those participating and those attending. We also celebrate our business community by holding the Kincardine Community Achievement Awards, a fun evening where we shine a spotlight on the businesses, people and community groups that help make Kincardine a great place to live. We also hold a Home and Cottage Expo, where it gives an opportunity to businesses in the area to showcase their products and services. Small events run in conjunction with local businesses happen throughout the year, with topics ranging from marketing and branding, to car care.
For our members we hold training sessions and networking opportunities to stay current on laws and news that affect business in our region.
